Hi Everyone!
I am Lady Nyte Myst, one of the three owners and co-founders of Dreamers Odyssey. I am also a TL for the Eternal NyteDreams Team along with Lady Lilith, and a co-TL at the Dreams of Atlantis Team along with Lady Tianna. You may have already known me as the "Hauntress" through my website, Linda's Haunted Halloween and my toplist of the same name. I also have 3 other websites that I have competed with: Twilight Illusions, The Faery Pool, and Linda's Winter Wonderland.

Favorites: My favorite music tends to be good ol' rock n roll and Celtic music. My favorite foods are French, Italian, and Mexican, and I love chocolate... all terrible if you want to lose weight! My favorite seasonal pastimes are photography, gardening, hiking, camping and canoeing. However, since it usually rains 6-7 months out of the year here, I love the indoor sports of web design, reading, and writing poetry.
Occupation: Retired Jr. High Language Arts Teacher (14 years)
Presently, a substitute teacher.
 
I am now a substitute teacher for two different school districts. Beside making some extra money, I get to enjoy being with students again! There is no lesson prepping, no grading homework, no conferences and no meetings! Lol! I just get to teach!
I now reside in Fortuna, California, 5 hrs. north of San Francisco (in the heart of the redwoods). I left the L.A. rat race in 1975, and I've lived here in the country ever since.

Children: I have 2 sons and 1 stepson - Jeremy (33), Ryan (31), and Brendan (23)
Married: Scott and I have been married 17 happy years now, but have been together for 20 years.
*~* GROWING UP *~*
Since my earliest memories, my life has evolved around water. Our family always had a sailboat which we moored at the Long Beach Marina, and we spent many weekends sailing. We cruised the coast of Baja, the islands off its coast, and sailed to Catalina Island more times than I can count. As a teenager, I body surfed and then took up scuba diving. I couldn't get enough adventure, and being blessed with a loving family that felt the same way, I was encouraged to get out there and have fun!
When I met my current husband, it was a perfect match... 2 water signs, Cancer & Aquarius. We both love the outdoors and water sports. Together, we took up canoeing (sometimes in white water), and he taught me to fly fish which we still do today. We both love to travel and have been to Canada, Tahiti, Italy and Sicily. We'd like to go to Belize & Guatemala next!
